I recently tried the ghee rice and beef curry combo at Manna Restaurant, and I must say it's one of the most affordable yet high-quality combos you can find in Kochi. For just 180 rupees, you get not only a delicious meal but also a sweet ending with payasam and a refreshing lime juice. Additionally, their tea and snacks counter is a must-try. However, it's worth noting that the seating area is quite small, and the hygiene of the shop could be better maintained. Despite that, the value and taste of the food make it a great place for a budget-friendly, satisfying meal.
Space might be limited but their food is simply out of this world. Easily the best biryani in town now and especially their mutton biryani.
Even Paragon and Didingul Thalapakatti have their job cut out for them as to what is the established benchmark in biryanis in Cochin.
The mutton literally melts in your mouth and the flavours and spices are simply amazing.
Lip smacking Good.
And they have some superb stuff besides their biryanis too - their porottas are so soft and fluffy and large and their nadan beef fry preparations will put to shame even the best of Syrian and Chettinadan Coconut flaked beef fry preparations.
Must also try their Kondattem Chicken Fry. Our guests from Australia were floored by it.
Desserts - they have this amazing preparation of ripe bananas diced and served with nuts and raisins.
Food is excellent with the authentic taste. Have all kinds of tea snacks. Service is fast. There is not enough parking space available.
